ABOUT CHELSEA
Chelsea Langevin began her dance training at Eastern Virginia School for the Performing Arts, studying classical ballet under the tutelage of Sandra Balestracci. She attended elite summer intensives at Cary Ballet Conservatory, Kirov Academy, Kaatsbaan, and Washington School of Ballet, and later graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts high school program, performing in a world premiere by Larry Keigwin. She then earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University before moving to NYC. There she danced with ALMA NYC and Thistle Dance, and performed with regional theaters such as Ogunquit Playhouse, North Carolina Theatre, Theatre by the Sea, Fireside Theatre, and Busch Gardens. Her career has also taken her around the world as a performer with Disney Cruise Line, Holland America, Viking Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Line, where she also served as an Install Creative Supervisor.
Since 2021, Chelsea has been the Associate Choreographer for The Lost Colony under director Jeff Whiting and is currently the Choreographer & a Co-Director for the theatre program at First Flight High School on the Outer Banks of NC. She can be found coaching & guest teaching in NC & VA, while also traveling throughout the U.S. as a judge for Platinum National Dance Competition & Inspire National Dance Competition. Chelsea is also on the roster of dance competition judges for Impact Dance Adjudicators. Passionate about dance education and supporting young performers, Chelsea is dedicated to creating a safe, joyful, and inspiring environment for the next generation of artists.
